Freiraum Schaffen Publication

Berlin, DE –”Freiraum Schaffen” (engl. “Creating Free Spaces”) is a publication about designing workspaces and learning environments that optimise productivity and collaboration while leaving free space for original thinking. From concept to finished product, Weinblum + Stahl was responsible for the creation of the publication including research, interviews, photography and layout.

The magazine featured diverse theories and perspectives from architect Le Van Bo, designer Hermann August Weizenegger and furniture retailer Hans Peter Jochum, to Sociology of Education Professor Dr. Justin W. Powell, industrial design firm Studio Aisslinger and even Google in a collection of original essays.

Reflecting the title’s invitation to “Create Free Space” we designed a minimalist layout and clean fold-out cover jacket, which inspired the readers to create their own free space for capturing new ideas.
